My Story...

Hi! I’m Kara, a wife of 16 years and a mom to 2 beautiful kids. I love living in Southern CA, a 7 year adventure.

I am passionate about empowering women (young and mature) to find beauty in brokenness by equipping them to love themselves from the inside out.

The seed for Beauty Redeemed was planted over 15 years ago while I was working on my Master’s Degree in Counseling. I’ve experienced great pain at a young age and began my “healing journey” as a teenager. But it wasn’t until grad school when I was forced to explore the deepest parts of my soul. It was in the depths where I found the truth about who I am at my core and what I am meant to do.

I began shedding my FALSE identity and FOUGHT against perfectionism. I began to live in TRUTH and AUTHENTICITY. I finally was FREE! Free from the bondage of past mistakes. Free from the criticism, blaming, & shaming. Free from the weight of it all! And the best part?

I saw myself through new eyes. Eyes that looked deeper than the surface. I started to FEEL beautiful. Not the vain, conceited beauty... the pure and vulnerable kind. I was finally able to love myself from the inside out.

I know that many women struggle with identity, purpose, and beauty. These run deep within us all and are at the core of how we live life. My hope is that you too can begin to see yourself through new eyes.
